Since 29 January 2024, Möllers Packaging Technology (MPT) officially moved to its new company headquarters in Oelde. The successful relocation to the "Oelde A2" business park in the neighbouring town took place with the entire workforce during ongoing operations.
For MPT, this strategic decision represents an important step for the future and will advance the development of the machine manufacturer on multiple levels.
By investing in a new, modern corporate headquarters, MPT is positioning itself as a forward-thinking company at the forefront of its industry. MPT is also setting an example for what a sustainable and eco-friendly work environment can look like. With the new site, the machine manufacturer is achieving a symbiosis that mirrors MPT's vision: modernity, the latest equipment and technologies, and production perfectly tailored to customers’ projects.
Progress and modern work environment within the new building
Thomas Vertgewall, CEO of MPT, expresses optimism and views the move as a great opportunity: “This move to Oelde will be a true boost for the whole workforce, and send a clear signal about the future of the company. It will also help us improve our productivity – in both administration and production. The move certainly was an emotional one. As the building in Beckum is linked to over 70 years of company history, we inevitably had to let go of parts of it. However, we are thrilled about our new company headquarters in Oelde and will have fond memories of our time at the Beckum site.“
The move was planned carefully, to ensure that the transition to the new building was a smooth one for costumers, business partners, and employees. Operations were ongoing as usual for employees and customers during this phase.
