Halfway there – new building of Möllers Packaging Technology GmbH already in sight

Company news

Around 15,000 m² are being newly built and a large part is already in place. The new company headquarters of Möllers Packaging Technology GmbH is progressing in great strides.

Beckum, 04.07.2023 – Möllers Packaging Technology (MPT) is moving to new facilities in Oelde next year (MPT reported on 13.01.2023). Now the first major changes on the new ground are already visible. The schedule can probably be kept and the staff can move in parts to Oelde at the end of the year. The shell of the building is already in place and the green flat roof will soon be installed. The supporting pillars of the new warehouse are also already anchored in the ground. MPT is looking forward to the upcoming change of the company headquarters with anticipation. New, modern and climate-friendly offices will be waiting for the employees in the future.

"The relocation represents a turning point in our company's history" says CEO Thomas Vertgewall. The upcoming move represents an important milestone in our further development and reflects the future-oriented aspirations of the company."

Modernity and environmentally friendly construction meet many years of experience and quality

Special attention will be paid to modern equipment with new technolgical devices within the company building and computers in the production facility. Thus, innovative solutions for customers and an efficient way of working will continue to be expanded in the new office space under the best technical conditions.

The new location also meets the requirements for an environmentally friendly building – sustainable construction, energy-efficient systems and solar panels contribute to a reduction of the ecological impact. MPT has firmly embedded the pursuit of improvement in its corporate culture and continues to do so in its sustainable building design.

New employee benefits support the relocation

The move also means one thing: the traditional company is moving to the neighboring town of Oelde, just about 10 km away. This results in a longer work commute for some employees. However, the future company headquarters will continue to be easily accessible by bicycle or car thanks to extended routes. To make the climate-friendly use of a bicycle more attractive, MPT recently introduced the JobRad. With this, thanks to tax incentives, employees can obtain desired bicycles – with or without electric power – around 40% cheaper compared to conventional consumption.

To support the overall fitness of the employees, MPT also offers the EGYM Wellpass. Various sports and wellness opportunities in the surrounding area can be attended more costeffecitve with this offer.
