Robot grippers
Reliable function of palletizing robots is reliant upon the use of suitable grippers. For palletizing of bags Möllers uses a specially developed bag gripper which grips the sacks with fingers and deposits them on the pallet tightly against each other. In an extended version, the gripper can also accept empty pallets with which the robot is put in the position of supplying itself with pallets from a supply stack. Suction grippers are also available in various universally useable designs as are mechanical grippers, multi-grippers and automatic grip-changeover devices which are adapted to certain package shapes.
